The Benizakura 9148 Gin is the first release from the new Benizakura gin distillery on the island of Hokkaido in the north of Japan. The distillery is named after a stunning park in the area and the gin is created using some of the finest and locally sourced botanicals. It brings a fantastic range of flavours including floral notes and a good balance of juniper. This delightful expression won a Gold medal at this year’s World Gin Awards.

Complex on the nose, revealing notes of roasted coffee, chocolate and citrus, Komasa Hojicha gin frankly expresses aromas of green tea, spices and some iodized notes on the palate which ends in a long, rather floral finish.
